To mark ten years as a self-employed independent HR consultant and Leadership Coach, I'm opening the first Beta cohort of Align & Design: Annual Business Reset Summit. Why This, Why Now

In ten years of consulting, the same gap shows up in almost every small business and nonprofit: owners are so busy running the business that they never step back and plan it. No documented vision. No honest SWOT. No revenue plan beyond keep doing what we're doing. No people plan at all.

This program is the pause most owners never give themselves, done in a short window instead of the someday project it usually becomes, in close proximity with someone who has spent a decade inside businesses and organizations just like theirs, years before that at corporate decision-making tables for multi-million-dollar businesses, as an HR specialist, with formal study in business coaching, and years spent mentoring female business owners specifically.

As an HR specialist, I know how these decisions actually land on employees, and I know employees are the fuel that powers the business. It doesn't run without them, but fuel that gets burned up isn't sustainable either, which is exactly why the people plan matters.
